My background dabbles in a few different sectors; education, sales and marketing, the third sector, I am grateful to have a plethora of knowledge from all my previous roles. However, what I’m mostly interested in now is developing and defining my own language as a creative entrepreneur.
There’s a couple of things I’m looking forward to as part of STEP. Firstly the duality of working with East London Dance and also with Create Jobs and Creative Access I think is a perfect playing field for being exposed to different stimuli from all the different experts who I will meet. Secondly, and more specifically, being a fundraising and community engagement assistant, I’m curious and motivated to learn the language that connects these two worlds and also how this language is shaping the arts and cultural sector.
